Carondelet Medical Group welcomes Board Certified Cardiologist (Cardiovascular Disease) and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Eric A. Brody.
Dr. Brody has extensive education, research, and training, including serving as Commander in the Commission Corp of the U.S. Public Health Services (1995-2005). He has special interests in echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and cardiovascular disease prevention. He also has extensive experience with valvular heart disease. His research interests include incidence and prevalence of coronary heart disease in Native Americans, as well as cardiac risk factors in these populations.
Dr. Brody has received numerous awards including the Tucson Area Indian Health Services (IHS) Director's Merit Award (2004, 2007).
When not in the clinic, Dr. Brody enjoys time with his family, reading, and athletics. He is an avid runner, biker, and swimmer. He stays active not only for personal enjoyment but also to set an example for his patients.
